Barnkovina & Valjevo: Leave in the morning to explore one of the most exciting parts of Serbian traditional, the museum village of Brankovina. Closely linked with Valjevo, one of the main centers of Western Serbia, Brankovina monument complex hidden in beautiful scenery of green orchards and hills, still keeps the memory of the prominent Nenadovic family, famous for the leaders and the first diplomatists of Serbian liberation movement against Turkish centennial occupation. The old church with vestiges from the First Serbian Uprising, the first school in liberated Serbia and the grave of the greatest Yugoslav poetess Desanka Maksimovic, together with 19th century courtyard, vividly present the free-minded spirit of the nation.
Drive to Valjevo, to enjoy the charm of the "good old times" in the Tesnjar old bazaar, followed by visit to the Art Gallery, to admire the exquisite monumental painting of Serbian - French artist Ljuba Popovic. Lunch at the national restaurant, to taste local cuisine.
Tour continues through the Gradac River Canyon. Drive through magnificent scenery of unspoiled nature, to follow the course of the crystal clear Gradac River and find on its banks the berl of the medieval heritage, the Celie Monastery. Founded in 14th century, the live vestige of Christian civilization in the wildness of Mt. Maljen, is known for icon painting school. An easy afternoon drive takes you back to Belgrade.
