Novi Sad & Fruška Gora ( 80 km away from Belgrade): Once an island in the vastness of the Great Pannonian Sea, Fruška Gora nowadays is famous for its vineyards, hiding fourteen monasteries scattered around it. Our tour will visit the two most valuable ones, Krušedol and Hopovo, both from 16th century. Tour continues along the banks of the Danube River to Novi Sad, Capital of the Province of Vojvodina. Panoramic city tour will end at Petrovaradin Fortress known as "Gibraltar of the Danube". The old fortress, whose beginnings runs back to a Roman Empire, is now a tourist attraction with museums, art studios, restaurants and middle-ages-style furnished hotel. After enjoying the lunch in typical national restaurant, tour continues to lovely town of Sremski Karlovci, where every building has a story to tell. Visit to the Museum of Honey and beekeeping, including honey and wine tasting. The tour ends with one hour-and-a-half bus ride on the way back to Belgrade.
